Pete C KBD LOCK PROBLEM - a good solution!!!! Sat Sep 13 08:55:25 2003 202.135.74.188 Hi Gaby and all ONE EXTRA KEY TO PRESS AND IT WILL ALWAYS WORK Here is a solution (work around) to the KBD LOCK problem (it is VERY fast):- Here is an example: SCENARIO:- You are going to play ARR C11 and switch to ARR C88 with KBD LOCK "on" - BUT let's assume that this is one case when the bug prevents the effects from being locked. So do this....... 01. Let's assume that you plan to start by using ARR C11 which has some wild effects in the MAIN KBD SOUND. 02. Let's assume that whilst you are playing you want to switch to ARR C88 and keep the wild effects and keyboard sounds. 03. Start by selecting ARR C11 and start playing it. 04. Make sure that you have "MAIN KBD" tab selected on the Touch-screen (THIS IS IMPORTANT). 05. Let's assume that your wild effects sound (MAIN KBD) is PROGRAM F27 06. Check and remember the second digit of the MAIN KBD sound (in this example it is a "7" - from "F27") 07. Whilst you are playing make sure that KBD LOCK is "on" 08. Now perform the switch to ARR C88 by doing this following step:- 09. .......Press "Arrangement" buttons "C"-"8"-"8" and follow this immediately with "Program" button "7" (bottom row) 10. ARR C88 will always play as you always wished for!!!! In summary, all you have to do is have MAIN KBD tab selected and to check the second digit of the MAIN KBD sound - so you have only ONE extra key to press to get your LOCK to ALWAYS work (i.e the "second digit of the program). All the above technique does is reloads the sound you already have for MAIN KBD, but of course it will also instantly load the effects as you would want. Hope this is better for you than the KEYBOARD SET option. Cheers Pete
